Everyday first graders have about 10 minutes of homework. It is sent home every day in their homework folder.

Plus:  Students should be reading books from their home library and public library. Please log home reading on the reading log also found in the homework folder. The goal is to get to 85 books!!!! (For PS 85 spirit!!!!)

Plus:  Students and families can access both I-Ready for Reading and Math.  The students i-ready passwords are taped onto the inside of their reading folder.

Plus: Epic is available to everyone in our class.  It is free during school hours. It is an online library of hundreds of books for students to read themselves OR have read aloud to them.  All students have been assigned leveled text to read.  The password and links are posted on our Google Classroom.
